Eighth Grade AVID Students Enjoy a Day at
Clemson University
Our eighth grade AVID students visited Clemson University for a day. They went to the DNA Lab, presented to a group of college students, ate at Harcombe cafeteria, and heard from student athletes.

Southwood Middle School has been named an AVID National Demonstration Site. Schools from all over the southeast will be visiting Southwood to learn more about our AVID program. We're very proud of our students, faculty, and staff for their hard work and dedication to the implementation of our AVID program.
