The following students were chosen by their teachers as Students of the Month for their grade level. Students of the Month receive a pizza during the last Friday of the month and recognition on Morning Meeting.
6th Grade
Emma Dix
Emma is a caring, considerate student. She focuses on her work and is helpful to her classmates. Emma is a dedicated student who gives her best effort daily and is always kind to those around her.
Kaden Garrett
Kaden is a kind and caring student. He works hard in his academic and arts classes. Kaden is a loyal and dependable friend. Kaden always has a smile on his face, and a positive outlook on life. He is a model Southwood student.
7th Grade
Ella Grace Greenlee
Ella Grace is very kind and always willing to help other students, both inside and outside of the classroom. She is conscientious of her school work and does her best on everything she does. Ella Grace is always ready for the next task!
Journey Keels
Journey is one of the most kind hearted and sweetest students! She is an example of what hardworking and caring is. Journey tries her best in all she does. She is always seen with a smile and ready to do what needs to be done!
8th Grade
Adam Goodwell
Adam maintains a positive attitude towards learning. He actively participates in class and is always prepared each day. Adam is always respectful to teachers and staff.
Mckinna Hall
Mckinna is a pleasure to teach. She contributes positively to the classroom environment. She is friendly to everyone and welcomes each person with a smile. Mckinna is always ready to answer questions and participate in class discussions.
